Hi, all, I'm back with the latest MFT Color Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s color combo: Sweet Tooth, Razzle Berry, Steel Gray, and Limelight. All of the details about the color challenge are available on the MFT Blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.
It’s been a while since I played with Painted Poppies Stamp Set and I thought a bright pink poppy would be just the thing for this color challenge. I wanted a subtle background so I dry embossed Sweet Tooth card stock with Captivating Mandala Stencil and popped it up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base with foam tape. Then I stamped the poppy, a stem, and two leaves with Extreme Black hybrid ink on No Line Coloring card stock and colored them all with Copic markers.
The sentiment is from Essential Sentiments and was heat embossed on Steel Gray card stock cut with Essential Slanted Sentiment Strips then adhered with foam tape. The poppy elements were also popped up on foam tape on top of the sentiment strip. To finish off, I added a few sequins.
And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Challenge Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!
Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
