Hey there and welcome to Day Three of MFT’s June Release Countdown!!! Today we’re previewing PI Hey, Sunshine Stamp Set, PI Hey, Sunshine Die-namics, You Are My Sunshine Stamp Set, Fish You Were Here Stamp Set, Fish You Were Here Die-namics, and Under the Sea Die-namics. Don’t forget that release is on June 4 at 10am Eastern and be sure to stop by the MFT Blog today for all the details.
Wowza, I wish I was where this little girl is right now, LOL! I could use some chillin’! I love traveling but you have to pay for it before you leave and after you get back, LOL! But it’s worth it and it’s all good! For this card I started by creating my background, which is the pool “water” by heat embossing Whimsical Waves Background and adding a watercolor wash. I created a shaker element with foam tape, clear acetate card stock, and A2 Rectangle Frames Die-namics cut from Cement Gray card stock to simulate the pool apron. I filled the shaker element with a nautical themed sequin mix and Silver Shimmer Seed Beads, adhered it to a Sweet Tooth card stock base and set it aside.
The images were stamped on No Line Coloring Card Stock with Extreme Black Hybrid ink, colored with Copic markers, and fussy cut out to allow more of the shaker image to show. They were popped up on foam tape for dimension, as was the heat embossed sentiment strip. I adore how this turned out!
And that’s it for today! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for Day Two of MFT’s June Release Countdown!
