Hello There–Color Throwdown Challenge #546

Hello and welcome to another Color Throwdown Challenge! Lisa is our hostess this week and she’s chosen some gorgeous colors based on her quilt inspiration piece.

I’m using Flower Silhouette Stamp Set for the floral images, More Essential Sentiments Stamp Set, and Skinny Strips Die-namics for the sentiment strip. First I heat embossed the floral images with white detail embossing powder then sponged the colors using Tropical Teal, Coral Crush, and Blueberry dye inks. The coral is looking orange in the photo but it’s coral IRL. After they were sponged I splattered a little clear water on each panel for some interest.

Once they were done and dry I popped them up on a Sweet Tooth card stock card front which was in turn popped up on a Sweet Tooth card stock card base, staggering their positions. The sentiment was also heat embossed and also popped up on foam. I finished off with some clear drop in several sizes.
