My DH’s birthday is in December, so I thought this was a perfect way to take note of it. No girlie stuff, even though I used Christmas paper so it’s perfect for a guy. First, I die cut some Sweet Tooth card stock with my Die-namics LLD Insert It – 3x4 Insert, then stamped the calendar grid. I stamped “December” at the top with the new Wild Cherry ink and the numbers with the also new Jellybean Green ink…
…then circled the correct day with a red Copic marker. I cut the sentiment element from Sno Cone card stock with Die-namics LLD Accent It – Flags & Tags and stamped the sentiment from the PI All Occasion Sentiments set before adhering it up under one of my Wild Cherry buttons.
Here’s the inside with a sentiment from More Essential Sentiments—he’ll get a chuckle out of this ;-)
Here are the Die-namics dies I used on this card:
I already know I’m going to get a ton of use out of this calendar set and I’m sure you’re going to get lots of ideas as you see what the rest of the design team does with it.
Thanks so much for stopping by! See you tomorrow, for Day Three!
