Hi, all! It’s Crazy 4 Challenges day! Today starts a new month and Joycelyn is our host. Her challenge for this week is “anything but a card”.
So, yeah, I know Halloween is over, but I’m taking the challenge at face value; it’s ANYTHING but a card and I wanted to do a Halloween printer’s tray. I never got around to it before now, so let’s just consider it a head start on next year, shall we? ;-)
This think took me hours to do, but that never stops me when I’m on a mission. And I love how it turned out! It’s too much to explain all the details so I’ll just show you each panel with a general description and if you have any specific questions just shoot me an email and I’ll be glad to help.
For this panel, I created a little scene with Die-namics Primitive Pumpkins Die Only, Die-namics Picket Fence, Die-namics Flat-Bottom Clouds, Die-namics Sheltering Tree and Leaf Trio, and Die-namics Circle STAX. I also stamped a balloon from Inspired by Up, Up and Away, and embossed the moon for more texture.
This panel was inspired by Poe, of course. I’m using Die-namics Branch With Leaves, Die-namics Oval Decorative Doily Duo, an oval from Die-namics Well Worn Greetings Die Only, Die-namics Royal Leaves, Die-namics Royal Rose and Die-namics Mini Royal Roses. Stamped sets used are Inspired by Caged Bird and Typewriter Alphabet. I also used some Tim Holt’s tape from the Halloween collection and a memo pin.
This panel uses some Halloween Bingo cards, Die-namics 1/4” Rosette, Die-namics By the Numbers, Die-namics By the Letters, and the little flag from Die-namics Airplane Greetings Die Only. Inspired by Months Of the Year provided the “October” image.
This panel shows a large bling-y flourish, more Tim Holtz tape, some Tim Holtz mini bottles with orange and black glitter in them, and a sweet little banner made with Die-namics Mini Pennant.
For this panel, I used Inspired by Butterflies stamp set, Die-namics Inspired by Butterflies Die Only, and Die-namics Butterflies, along with Die-namics By the Letters, Die-namics Leafy Flourish Medium, and Die-namics Plentiful Petals.
And, for the last panel I used Die-namics Spider Web Die & Stamp Set, Die-namics Lead the Way, Die-namics By the Letters, and Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX. Some bling, more Tim Holts Halloween tape, and some twine finish it off.
Here are the Die-namics dies I used on this project:

ReplyDeleteLove it. Halloween is a really fun time to decorate for. May I ask where you got the Bingo cards? I can't seem to find them anywhere. Need a source for various times of year using Bingo cards. Thanks. Always enjoy checking out your blog.
ReplyDeleteWow, Barb!
ReplyDeleteThat is AMAZING!!! :) I don't think I could wait until next year and would have to enjoy it for at least a week or two before putting it away! ;)
