Ho Ho Ho–MFT November Teaser, Day One

I just love the primitive style of these sets so I went a little bit rustic with my design. First of all, I stamped a row of the large Darling Dots on some Kraft card stock with the brand new Wild Cherry ink. Folks, this ink stamps like a DREAM! Total coverage on solid stamps. Total.

After I stitched that to my base, I stamped the Stitched Stockings border on Whip Cream card stock and popped it up on foam. Last, I stamped the stockings on the die cuts. Then I stamped the “Ho Ho Ho” image on the top of one of the stockings, popped them all up on more foam, and it was done! I think this is a design I can “mass produce” this year.

Here’s the inside with another sentiment from Stitched Stockings. To get the two colors on this sentiment, I put some clear tape over everything except “Christmas”. I stamped that with Wild Cherry ink, removed the tape and carefully applied black ink to the rest. Easy peasy!
