You’re a Life Saver–MFT February Release Countdown, Day One

Hey, everyone! Tonight’s the night! MFT’s February Release happens at 10 pm TONIGHT!! Until then, though, we have one more day of the Release Countdown to share with you. Today we’re previewing Go Overboard, Let’s Get Nautical Die-namics, Watercolor Backgrounds, and Waves stencil. Be sure to drop in at the MFT Blog for all the details.





I had so. much. fun making this card!!! I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then embossed the new Houndstooth Cover-Up Die-namics on some more Sweet Tooth card stock. On a strip of Sno Cone card stock, I stenciled some Berrylicious ink with Wave stencil and adhered both of them to another piece of Sweet Tooth card stock. I wrapped a piece of Sno Cone grosgrain ribbon around that, along with some red and white baker’s twine and popped it up on foam tape onto the base.

Then I cut the live saver, from Let’s Go Nautical Die-namics from Sno Cone card stock and the rings from Red Hot card stock. I popped the rings up on foam, catching some white cotton twine under it to resemble the ropes on a real life saver. That was then popped up on foam. The sentiment, from Go Overboard, was stamped with Black Licorice ink, and a few enamel dots finished it off.

The inside has a sentiment from a previously released set, Sending Thanks.
