Can you believe this is the last day of MFT’s June Release Countdown??? Today we’re previewing Office Supplies Die-namics, LLD At the Office, Free with $60 - File Folder Edges Die-namics, and Punctuate It Stencil. Tonight at 10 pm you’ll be able to order all of the products we’ve been showing you for the last week. Don’t forget to stop by the MFT Blog today for all of the release details!
I am so over-the-moon in love with today’s products that I couldn’t stop at one card, so I have two for you today. My first card started with a Grout Gray card stock base (Grout Gray is becoming my favorite neutral!) then I created some “patterned paper” for the next layer. On Black Licorice card stock, I stenciled Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink with Punctuate It Stencil for the top. For the bottom part, and on Sweet Tooth card stock using Large Polka Dots Stencil, I used the color palette I’d chosen for the project: Berrylicious ink, Black Licorice ink, Kraft ink, and Cotton Candy ink. I tied around some hemp cord and the base was done. Next I cut the clipboard base using Office Supplies Die-namics from Kraft card stock plus another copy from chipboard. I adhered them together to give my clipboard more strength because I knew I’d want to pop it up on foam. I cut the “clip” from silver mirror card stock and then stamped Notebook Paper Background Stamp on Sweet Tooth card stock with Berrylicious ink and clipped it on. The clip is secured at the bottom with ScorTape and at the top with foam tape to give it more dimension. I stamped sentiment, from LLD At the Office with Black Licorice ink and the underline and circle with Cotton Candy ink, The little memo clip was cut from Berrylicious card stock and stamped with black Licorice ink.
On the inside, I cut the liner with File Folder Edges Die-namics and stamped the sentiments from LLD At the Office with Black Licorice ink.
*****
My second card uses the manila envelope option from the set—that’s why I made two, I couldn’t decide which option to choose, they’re both so fun!
This card started with a Steel Gray card stock base, then I added a Primitive White card stock layer stamped with LJD Darling Dots and Safety Orange ink. Next there’s a layer of Blu Raspberry card stock stamped with Notebook Paper Background Stamp and Black Licorice Hybrid ink. Then I constructed my manila envelope, using Safety Orange card stock with Brick Red card stock and hemp cord for the string clasp. On it I stamped the arrow from LLD At the Office with Black Licorice ink. I cut a Washi Tape Die-namics from Primitive White card stock and stamped images on it with Black Licorice ink and over stamped with Lemon Drop ink for the marker look. Some Star STAX Die-namics, cut from silver glitter paper, were added to complete the theme. I couldn’t resist adding a paper clip, cut from metallic silver paper—it looks exactly like a REAL paper clip!!
Another sentiment and stars from LLD At the Office were stamped on the inside with Black Licorice ink.
And that’s it for June Release Countdown! Have fun shopping tonight!
