Hey, there! It’s Wednesday noon so it must be time for this week’s MFTWSC! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.
I decided to flip the sketch this week. I started with a Kraft card stock base, then added a layer of Sweet Tooth card stock embossed with Modern Morocco Die-namics. Then I added a strip of Sour Apple card stock stamped with Grid Background in Steel Gray ink. Next, I added the flags, cut from Steel Gray card stock with Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics. I’m using LJD Peaceful Wildflowers for my focal point. I cut LJD Wildflowers Die-namics from Sweet Tooth card stock and stamped with Sour Apple ink, Sno Cone ink, Banana Split ink, Pink Lemonade ink, Grapesicle ink, and Insulation Pink ink. I tied all the flowers together with hemp cord and popped them up on a Pierced Rectangle STAX Die-namics die cut, also popped up on foam. The sentiment, from the same set, was stamped on Steel Gray card stock with Sweet Tooth pigment ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder, then popped up on foam. I finished off with a few clear gems.
Another sentiment from LJD Peaceful Wildflowers was stamped on the inside with Steel Gray ink.
And that’s it! Thanks so much for stopping by today—hope to see you playing along!
