Hello and thanks for joining me for Day Four of MFT’s April Release Countdown! Today we’re previewing BB Up in the Air, BB Up in the Air Die-namics, Spring Scene Builder Die-namics, Stitched Tiny Tags 2 Die-namics, Dots & Stripes Confection Paper Pack, and Dots & Stripes Bright Paper Pack. Release is on April 4th at 9pm Eastern so make a note :) And don’t forget to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details.
MFT read my mind—I’d been thinking a hot air balloon see was just what we needed and Birdie Brown came though with this darling set. I have a couple of cards for you today showing different ways to use it. For my first card, I started by sponging a cloud background on a Sweet Tooth card stock card base with Blue Breeze dye ink and a template cut with Stitched Cloud Edges Die-namics. Next I stenciled Radiating Rays Stencil with Sunshine dye ink and added a circle of Sunshine card stock cut with Blueprints 12 Die-namics for the sun. Then I cut New York Skyline Die-namics from Gravel Gray card stock, stamped the sentiment with Versamark and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, and popped it up on the card base with foam mounting tape.
Then I stamped the images from BB Up in the Air with Black Licorice hybrid ink on X-Press I Blending Card, colored them with Copic markers, and adhered them into the scene with foam tape. To finish off, I added a few Sparkling Clear Mix Sequins.
*****
My second card is a little bit more CAS.
To start, and on a piece of Sweet Tooth card stock, I taped off a section and sponged it with Berrylicious dye ink. Next I spread embossing paste through Cloudy Day Stencil and stamped the sentiment at the bottom. I trimmed off a little on each side and popped it up on foam mounting tape.
I stamped the images on Ranger Watercolor Paper, cut them out with the coordinating dies, and watercolored them with Peerless Watercolors and a waterbrush, and popped them up on foam for the finish.
And that’s it for Day Four of MFT’s April Release Countdown! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for Day Three!
