Hello and welcome to another Color Throwdown Challenge! This week’s hostess is Broni, who is inspiring us with this calming and restful beach scene.
The calming effect took me to CAS world for my card. Very simple but I like it a lot. I did a watercolor wash for the background, then popped that up on foam tape on the card base.
Next I added Hello Die-namics, cut three times, stacked, and adhered, then added three leaves from Fab Foliage cut from Sour Apple card stock and popped up on foam for dimension.
I added some Morning Dew Nuvo Crystal Drops to the leaves and 3mm, 4mm, 5mm Clear Round Drops on the background for some interest.
And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD490 so we can see your beauty all in one place, and use #ctd490 and #colorthrowdown on social media. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week, including our incredibly talented May Guest Designer, Rachel Alvarado!
