With Love to an Extraordinary Mom–Color Throwdown Challenge #491

Hello there and welcome to a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge! This week’s hostess is the awesome Amy Rysavy and she’s challenging us with this luscious color palette.




I started with a English Brick Wall Stencil background—molding paste and then Latte dye ink, on Sweet Tooth card stock cut with Stitched Dome STAX Die-namics, and popped that up on a dry embossed Sunrise Radiating Rays Stencil panel.

I’d been wanting to try out the new wool felt from MFT so I took this opportunity to do just that. I created some gorgeous Royal Roses Die-namics using Persimmon Wool Felt—it cuts like a hot knife through butter--and added Fab Foliage leaves cut from Sour Apple and Jellybean Green card stocks.



The sentiment is from All About Mom, framed with Fishtail Flag Frames Die-namics cut from Kraft card stock and popped up on foam tape.
