In the Background: Watercolor Background

Hi, everyone, I’m here today with the first of my “In the Background” series tutorials. I’ve been having so much fun creating backgrounds with MFT’s background stamps and experimenting with new techniques so I thought I’d share some of them with you. Today I’m going to be making a watercolor wash background with My Favorite Things inks. My card design is really simple because I wanted the background to be the star.

This is my first ever video on my blog so please be kind, LOL :) There’s gotta be a first one, right? I’ve been wanting to start doing videos and but never got the nerve up—I finally decided to JUST DO IT!

And there you go—I hope you’ve found my first “In the Background” video helpful and I hope you’ll give this technique a try. Every background you do with this technique will look different—there’s no “right” way to do it and it’s so much fun to see how each with turn out.
