Hello! It's time for the September MFT and Friends Feature! The new release is available now for purchase so be sure to head on over to the MFT Online Boutique and shop! And don't forget to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details, more inspiration, and a chance to win a prize!
I love to create an aperture opening to frame a scene and the new Watercolor Wash Free Form Die-namics works a charm!! I used to love Oval STAX but since they were retired I've been without--I might just love this new product even better!!
To begin, I stamped the images on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut them out with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored them with Copic markers. Next, I cut the aperture from Sweet Tooth card stock and stamped the sentiment at the bottom. The background was sponged on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper using Fossilized Amber, Broken China, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire, Black Soot Distress Inks, then adhered to a Sweet Tooth card stock base.
Diluted white craft ink was spattered on the background and images before assembly. The aperture was popped up on foam, then the images were added, also on foam. To finish off I scattered some music notes around, stamped with Extreme Black hybrid ink.
Visit each of the designer posts linked on the MFT Blog today and leave a comment by the end of the day on Thursday, September 9th, for your chance to WIN one of two, $100 MFT Shopping Sprees.
