Birthday Butterfly–CTD #283

Happy Wednesday, folks! It’s time for Color Throwdown! This week’s colors are brought to us by the fabulously talented Wanda, based her gorgeous inspiration piece.




I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then trimmed down another Sweet Tooth card stock panel. I cut the bracket element using Blueprints 13 Die-namics and stamped it with Steel Gray ink using MPD Distressed Background Blocks and “adhered” that with the Washi tape element stamped with images from Washi Patterns. Then I stamped the “BIRTHDAY” from LJD Snowflake Splendor on the little double flagged element, also from Blueprints 13 Die-namics and Sour Apple card stock. Next I cut the “happy” from Happy Birthday Die-namics using Orange Fizz card stock and popped it up on foam. The MPD Fancy Butterflies Die-namics were cut from Orange Fizz card stock and Steel Gray card stock and also popped up on foam. I finished it off with some sequins.

The inside has a sentiment from LJD Words of Inspiration, stamped with Steel Gray ink.
