Hi all, and welcome to Day Seven of MFT’s March New Release Countdown! It’s time to think about Spring and we have just the thing for you! Today we’re previewing a new Lisa Johnson set called LJD Easter Bunny, along with coordinating Die-namics dies, LJD Easter Bunny Die-namics. We also have a new Pure Innocence, PI Stirrup Some Fun, and a new Blueprints set to show you, Blueprints 13 Die-namics. To see all the details about today’s previews, be sure to head on over to the MFT Blog. Release is on March 11 at 10pm, so be sure to put that on your calendars.
I have a couple of cards for you today—one using the new Lisa Johnson set, LJD Easter Bunny, and on both cards I’m using a few images from a set from a brand new line for MFT, Birdie Brown Designs - BBD Sunflower Sweetheart. You’ll see much more about that tomorrow :)
My first card started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then, on a trimmed-down Sweet Tooth card stock panel, I stamped the grass image from BBD Sunflower Sweetheart with Spearmint ink. Then I cut the basket from LJD Easter Bunny Die-namics from Kraft card stock and stamped the coordinating image from LJD Easter Bunny with Kraft ink. Next I cut some eggs using LJD Easter Bunny Die-namics from Grapesicle card stock, Bubblegum card stock, Banana Split card stock, Sno Cone card stock, Spearmint card stock, and Insulation Pink card stock and stamped images from Washi Patterns on them with matching ink. I arranged them in the basket and popped the whole thing up on foam. Then I stamped the sentiment, from LJD Easter Bunny in Steel Gray ink, wrapped around some sweet green cord and tied on a Spearmint button.
The inside has another sentiment from LJD Easter Bunny and a darling little carrot image, stamped in Insulation Pink ink and Spearmint ink.

My second card uses the new Blueprints 13 Die-namics and a couple of sentiments from BBD Sunflower Sweetheart along with some of my favorite oldies but goodies :)
I started with Sweet Tooth card stock base, then stamped up some patterned paper with Plaid Builder Background, stamping with Wild Cherry ink, Black Licorice ink, Lemon Drop ink, and Sour Apple ink on Sweet Tooth card stock and cut it out with the large layer from Blueprints 13 Die-namics. I layered that with Black Licorice card stock and popped it up on foam on the base. Then, with another element from Blueprints 13 Die-namics, I cut out some paper from my stash that was stamped with LJD Art Expression Text and adhered that. Next I stamped the Washi tape element with a stamp from Washi Patterns and adhered that.
I cut a Sunflower Die-namics from Lemon Drop card stock and the center from Black Licorice card stock and popped it up on top of a Leaf-Filled Flourish Die-namics die cut using Sour Apple card stock. More elements from Blueprints 13 Die-namics were cut with Black Licorice card stock and Wild Cherry card stock. The sentiment, from BBD Sunflower Sweetheart, was stamped with Sweet Tooth pigment ink and heat embossed, then popped up on foam. This card is also for this week’s Color Throwdown challenge—check out the blog for details.
The inside has another sentiment from BBD Sunflower Sweetheart.
And there you have it! Day Seven of MFT’s March New Release Countdown! Thanks for stopping by—hope to see you back later for this week’s MFTWSC and tomorrow for Day Six!
