Hey, there! It’s Wednesday noon so it must be time for this week’s MFTWSC! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.
I don’t know about you, but circles throw me. Every. Single. Time. So, I decided to use flowers for those elements in this sketch.
I started with a Sweet Tooth Card Stock base. Next I added a Grout Gray Card Stock layer on which I spread some embossing paste through Diagonal Bars Stencil for the rectangle element at the bottom of the sketch. Then I added some Gerbera Daisy Die-namics, cut from Grape Jelly Card Stock, Grapesicle Card Stock, Tangy Orange Card Stock, and Orange Fizz Card Stock. The centers were cut from Safety Orange Card Stock and the leaves, cut from Jellybean Green Card Stock, were made with dies from LJD Splendid Sunflower Die-namics. The sentiment is from LJD Words of Inspiration and was stamped on Sweet Tooth Card Stock cut with a Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics and stamped with Steel Gray Ink. a few enamel dots finish it off.
Another sentiment from LJD Words of Inspiration was stamped on the inside.
And that’s it for me today! Thanks so much for dropping by; see you soon!
