Hey, everyone, and welcome to Day Five of MFT October Release Countdown! Today we’re previewing Tag Builder Blueprints 2 Die-namics, Gift Card Grooves Die-namics, Gifting Fun, and Herringbone Bricks Stencil. Be sure to check out the details at the MFT Blog and don’t forget that release is on October 14th at 10pm.
Today’s video will show you how I created the embossed resist background with the soon-to-be-released Fine Chevron Background and how I created the gift card holder with Gift Card Grooves Die-namics and Gifting Fun. You can see the video by clicking on the button below or HERE on YouTube.
Here’s a close up of the card elements, including the embossed resist background, some embossing with a stencil, and a sentiment from Gifting Fun.
The rainbow panel was created by first heat embossing with Fine Chevron Background, using Sweet Tooth pigment ink, heat embossing with white embossing powder, and sponging on ink, from left to right: Grape Jelly ink, Blue Raspberry ink, Sour Apple ink, Lemon Drop ink, Orange Fizz ink, and Wild Cherry ink. The horizontal strip was dry embossed with a new stencil, Positive Sign Stencil. The sentiment, from Gifting Fun, was stamped on an Oval STAX Set 2 Die-namics, cut from Sweet Tooth card stock and layered on a new Stitched Oval STAX Die-namics, cut from Black Licorice card stock and popped up on foam.
On the inside are images from Gifting Fun, plus the money or gift card slot make with Gift Card Grooves Die-namics.
There you have it—Day Five of MFT October Release Countdown! Thanks so much for stopping by today—see you soon!
