Are you ready to shop?! MFT October Release is NOW, at the MFT store! All the goodies we’ve been showing you for the last week are now available for purchase!
I’ve got several projects to show you using Peace, Love, Joy Die-namics—it’s a long post—and I have a video further down the post--so grab your favorite cuppa, get comfy and put you feet up, and take a look :)
My first card is pretty CAS, but sends a really peaceful and calming vibe, I think. I started with a Nightshift Blue card stock base, then stamped Snowfall Background all over with Sweet Tooth pigment ink. Next, I cut Pierced Snowflakes Die-namics from Sweet Tooth card stock and popped it up on foam bits, and lastly, cut the “peace” sentiment from Peace, Love, Joy Die-namics from silver mirror paper and popped it up as well. I thought it needed no further embellishment so it was done. This card would be easy to mass produce, and mail-friendly, especially if you didn’t pop up either of the die cuts, but you know I love me some dimension, so I did :)
Here’s the inside with a sentiment from Merry Messages stamped with Nightshift Blue ink on Sweet Tooth card stock.

Next up, I have a couple of tags, also using Tag Builder Blueprints 2 Die-namics.
Here’s a close up of the first one. I cut it from Kraft card stock, stamped it with Fine Chevron Background and Natural ink, then added the topper from some paper in my stash, made of Berrylicious card stock stamped with Burlap Background and Berrylicious ink. I added a Pierced Snowflakes Die-namics cut from Sweet Tooth card stock and the “love” from Peace, Love, Joy Die-namics, cut from silver glitter paper. I finished off with silver ribbon tied with hemp cord.
And here’s the second one—I cut it from some more paper in my stash: Sweet Tooth card stock stamped with Wild Cherry ink and an image from Plaid Builder Background. The topper was cut from Wild Cherry card stock, the music element was stamped with Sheet Music Background on Sweet Tooth card stock with Black Licorice ink, then cut with Stitched Oval STAX Die-namics. The “joy”, from Peace, Love, Joy Die-namics was cut from red mirror paper and everything popped up on foam. Some ribbon and black twine finish it off.

Next up is another card, using Fine Chevron Background and Peace, Love, Joy Die-namics.
In this video, I’m showing you how I constructed this card, with emphasis on Fine Chevron Background and Stitched Oval STAX Die-namics. You can see the video by clicking on the button below or HERE on my YouTube Channel.
I started with a Wild Cherry card stock, base, added a layer stenciled with Wild Cherry ink and All Lined Up Stencil, then added a Stitched Oval STAX Die-namics cut from Kraft card stock that had been stamped with Fine Chevron Background and Versamark. Then I added a Winter Wreath Die-namics, cut from Jellybean Green card stock and Gumdrop Green card stock with a Wild Cherry card stock bow and red bead berries, finished off with a Peace, Love, Joy Die-namics cut from glitter paper.
A sentiment from Merry Messages was stamped on the inside with Wild Cherry ink.

And, finally, a home décor mixed media piece.
This project started as a heavy chipboard frame that got at Hobby Lobby. First of all I Stamped up some Sheet Music Background on copy paper with Steel Gray ink. I used the copy paper because I knew it would be easier to mold around corners, etc., than card stock. Then I ripped it into pieces and Mod Podge’d it onto the frame, and covering it with Mod Podge. After it dried, I distressed it up a bit with Kraft ink. The background of the center was created with Snowflake Fusion Cover-Up Die-namics, cut from Sweet Tooth card stock and backed with another piece. Since it was not quite large enough to completely fill the opening, I created a frame with Chalkboard Frame Builder Die-namics, cut from Berrylicious card stock and stamped with Wood Plank Background. Two of the elements of the frame set fit the opening PERFECTLY! They could NOT have fit any better!
Then I added a Stitched Oval STAX Die-namics, cut from Kraft card stock and swiped with embossing paste through Herringbone Bricks Stencil, and a Poinsettia Die-namics, cut from Berrylicious card stock and silver mirror paper. Some clear gems were added to the center.
Next, I added some Pierced Snowflakes Die-namics, cut from glitter paper as a base for the three Peace, Love, Joy Die-namics, cut from silver mirror paper.
In the bottom right corner are a couple of sentiments from Merry Messages—one stamped with Steel Gray ink and one heat embossed with glitter embossing powder—an Ampersand Die-namics, cut from Berrylicious card stock separates them.
Whew! if you’ve stayed with me this far, congrats and thanks! I hope I’ve given you some ideas for using YOUR Peace, Love, Joy Die-namics and your Stitched Oval STAX Die-namics in some fun ways. Thanks so much for stopping by…and happy shopping!! And don’t forget that MFT will be giving away TWO $100 vouchers—to have a chance to win one, be sure to comment on each of the designers’ blogs by end of the day on Thursday, October 16th. The winners will be announced on the MFT Blog on the Release Rewind Day Two post on Friday, October 17th.
