Hello, everyone, welcome to this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge! Wanda is our host this week and she has chosen a color palette that is a favorite of mine: black, white, green, and red.
I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, stamping the sentiment, from LJD You’re the Sweetest, at the bottom with Black Licorice dye ink. Next I stamped more Sweet Tooth card stock with Garden Flourish Background and Black Licorice dye ink, trimmed the edge with Stitched Basic Edges Die-namics (another product being released this month) and “piped” the stamped background layer with another one cut from Black Licorice card stock. I popped it up on foam and added two Simple Leaf Flourishes Die-namics, cut from Sour Apple card stock, and a Rolled Blooming Rose Die-namics cut from Wild Cherry card stock. I finished off with enamel dots.
On the INSIDE, I stamped a sentiment from lJD Birthday Greetings.
And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD345 so we can see your beauty all in one place, and use #ctd345 and #colorthrowdown on social media. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week, including our incredibly talented June Guest Designer, Nancy Thomas!
