Hello, everyone! Welcome to a brand new Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! I love this sketch!! A real classic design :)
My card started with a Grout Gray card stock base, which I stamped with Lace Background and Versamark, then heat embossed with white detail embossing powder. Next is a Dizzy Doily Duo Die-namics, cut from Sweet Tooth card stock and then a strip of Black Licorice card stock. The Sweet Tooth card stock focal panel was stamped with a sentiment from Written in Watercolor with Black Licorice dye ink and popped up on foam mounting tape. I then cut a bunch of Watercolor Flowers Die-namics and stamped them with the coordinating images with the following inks: Cotton Candy dye ink, Ripe Raspberry dye ink, Pure Plum dye ink, Lemon Chiffon dye ink, Daffodil dye ink, Safety Orange dye ink, Sno Cone dye ink, Summer Splash dye ink, Blu Raspberry dye ink, Limelight dye ink, Sour Apple dye ink, Jellybean Green dye ink, then adhered them to the sentiment panel, some popped up on foam. I then added a Vintage Button Die-namics, cut from Ranger silver foil card stock and several layers of scrap paper. I glued them all together for sturdiness and to make it look REALLY vintage, smooshed my Steel Gray hybrid ink pad on it, then tied it on with hemp cord. To finish off, I added some enamel dots.
A sentiment from True Friends was stamped on the inside.
And that’s it for this week’s Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! Thanks so much for stopping by—see you soon!
