Hello! Back again today with this week’s Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! Karen has a classic design for us today—that I flipped on it’s side. What can I say? I’m a rebel ;-)
So, I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base. Next up is more Sweet Tooth card stock stamped with Typewriter Text Background and Steel Gray dye ink. Next is some paper I stamped up on Sweet Tooth card stock with Plain Builder Background and Steel Gray dye ink, Blu Raspberry dye ink, and Safety Orange dye ink. The large panel is Sweet Tooth card stock cut with Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics with white embossing paste applied through MPD Stone Wall Stencil. After it dried, I went over it again with Steel Gray dye ink and popped up on foam mounting tape. I’m envisioning my girl in a far away place with cobblestone streets, I guess ;-)
I slipped a Safety Orange card stock Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics under the edge of the panel, following the sketch. Before I adhered the stenciled panel, I tied around some black twine and added a Pierced Traditional Tag STAX Die-namics cut from Sweet Tooth card stock and stamped with a sentiment from the set in Black Licorice hybrid ink. The focal image was cut from Neenah Classic Crest Cover, Solar White Smooth, 110lb with BB Adventure Is Calling Die-namics, stamped with the coordinating image from BB Adventure Is Calling with Black Licorice hybrid ink, colored with Copic markers, and popped up on foam. After I added some enamel dots it was done!
Another sentiment from the set was stamped on the inside.
And that’s it for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! Hope to see lots of you playing along this week. Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
