Grateful–CTD #315

Hey, there, and welcome to this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge! This week the most fabulous Jodi is hosting for the first time and she has chosen some luscious fall colors for us.




I started with a Primitive White card stock base, then trimmed down another piece of Primitive White card stock and dry embossed a frame in the center with two sizes of Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I masked the framed area off and splattered some ink from my mini mister sprays in the challenge colors. I used MIX-ables Sheer Shimmer Mist and the following to mix up my sprays: Jellybean Green refill, Banana Split refill, and Tangy Orange refill.

Next, I added a sentiment, using Words of Gratitude Die-namics, cut from gold mirror paper. Then I cut some leaves, using Falling Leaves Die-namics, from Banana Split card stock, Jellybean Green card stock, and Tangy Orange card stock, added adhered them together, and splattered them with gold spray. I curled up some gold thread, adhered the leaf cluster, and it was done.

A sentiment from Thankful Thoughts was stamped on the inside with Chocolate Brown ink.
