Hello and welcome to Day Two of MFT's January Card Kit Countdown! Friendship Card Kit  will be available for purchase on January 26th at 10am Eastern so make a note! And be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details.

The Friendship
Card Kit includes the following products:

Friendship Stamp Set (Kit Exclusive)
What Friendship Means Die-namics
Boxed-in Banners Die-namics
Friend & Friendship Die-namics
Card Stock - Smooth White (5), Butterscotch (3), Eiffel Tower (3)
The Free with $60 releasing with this kit is Polka Dot Pops Die-namics.
Available Separately:
Best Friend Background Stamp
Stitched Jumbo Fishtail Flags Die-namics
Fishtail Foundations Die-namics

MFT has some new card stock colors releasing in the future. You'll notice two of them are in this kit and I'm loving both of them. For this card, I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base and cut another panel for my card front.

Then I cut strips of both new card stocks with Slimline Starter Die-namics and adhered them diagonally onto the card front. Once that was done and trimmed I adhered it to the card base with foam tape.

Next I cut "Friendship" (from Friends & Friendship Die-namics) from Eiffel Tower card stock and twice from white scraps, stacked them together and adhered them to the card front. The rest of the sentiment is from Friendship Stamp Set and was stamped on Sweet Tooth card stock cut with Fishtail Foundations Die-namics and popped up on foam, and finished off with some enamel dots

And that's it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for Day One of MFT's Friendship Card Kit Release Countdown!

Sending Smooches - MFT January Outside the Box Challenge

Do you feel that? In the air? That's love. Thanks to the unique assembly of box cards, you can create scenes that feature hearts that appear to be floating on air. That's not all, though. Our team has ideas — lots of them — for bringing the love to their box card scenes. Take a cue from them as you spread the love in the coming weeks.

I had never had a chance to play with SY Kissing Booth Stamp Set and Die-namics and thought this was a perfect chance to use it. The images were stamped on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut them out with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored them with Copic markers.

I cut the box with Outside the Box, Outside the Box Level Up, and Outside the Box Grass Die-namics. I added Summertime Polka Dots Patterned Paper to the front and sides, and sponged the sky with Broken China Distress Ink and Mini Cloud Edges Stencil.

Once the box was constructed the images were added along with the sentiment, heat embossed on Black Licorice card stock cut with Skinny Strips Die-namics and popped up on foam.

And that's it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to check by the MFT Blog for all the details!

Warm Wishes - MFT January Slimline Challenge: Winter

Slimline scenes offer lots of length for crafting wintery scenes packed with all your favorite outdoor activities. From sledding to skiing to skating, there's ample room to let your characters fly. If subtle scenes of gently falling snow are more your thing, imagine the gorgeous winter skies you can showcase on the supersized canvas these proportions provide! Join the MFT team this month in crafting chilly slimline scenes.

I wanted to create a little scene and I chose BB Toasty Greetings for if. To begin, I stamped the images on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut them out with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored them with Copic markers.

Next I cut Cement Gray card stock with Slimline Starter Die-namics and stamped trees from Wonderful Woods Stamp Set with Milk Chocolate dye ink then added Stitched Slimline Snow Drifts Die-namics cut from Sweet Tooth card stock and popped up on foam tape.

To complete my scene the colored images were adhered with foam tape and I created a snow storm by spattering slightly watered-down white craft ink to finish off.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details.

Look on the Bright Side - MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #525

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

I had to think on this one a bit, LOL! I finally landed on this design and I like it! I started with a sky created with Mini Cloud Edges Stencil and Broken China Distress Ink and adhered it to a Sweet Tooth card stock base with foam tape.

Next I cut Color Blast Die-namics from Sweet Tooth card stock and colored the strips with Copic markers and adhered them directly to the card front after taping them together on the back.

Three sentiments from Good Vibes Only Stamp Set were heat embossed with white detail embossing powder on Black Licorice card stock cut with Essential Stitched Sentiment Strips, and popped up on foam tape.

And that's it from me today! Thank you so much for stopping by today--see you soon!

Good Luck - Color Throwdown Challenge #626

Hello and welcome to a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge! Lisa is hosting this week and has a fun color combo base on her retro vibe inspiration piece.

I love Ranger Watercolor paper because it's snow white but I needed a cream color watercolor paper for this card. Luckily I had some in my stash--I think it's Stampin' Up but now sure. I heat embossed Baccarat Background (keeping the retro vibe going) with silver detail embossing powder then applied a watercolor wash with Peerless Watercolors.

I matted this with Black Licorice card stock and adhered it to a Chantilly Cream card stock base with foam tape. Chantilly Cream is gorgeous! REALLY creamy and a wonderful weight. Next I cut Good Luck Greetings Die-namics from Silver Sparkle card stock and twice from Black Licorice card stock and stacked them together with spray adhesive.

I heat embossed a sentiment from Good Luck Greetings Stamp Set on Black Licorice card stock, cut with Skinny Strips Die-namics, with silver detail embossing powder and adhered it directly to the card front. The stacked die cut sentiment was adhered above that and I finished off with some glitter enamel dots.

And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword #CTD626 so we can see your beauty all in one place, and use #ctd626 and #colorthrowdown on social media. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week!
