May Your Days Be Merry and Bright - Color Throwdown Challenge #672

Hello everyone and welcome to a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge! This week I'm the hostess and I chose some fun, non-traditional Christmas colors that I hope you just can't resist playing with!

I'm using MFT's Party Lights Stamp Set and Die-namics for this card, along with a sentiment from Merry & Bright Stamp Set.

To begin, I covered a Sweet Tooth card stock base with Black & White Stripes Patterned Paper and set it aside. Next I stamped the sentiment where I wanted it and arranged the light cords around it, both using Extreme Black Hybrid Ink. I cut the lights from Cotton Candy, Limelight, and Summer Splash card stocks and popped them up on the cords with bits of foam tape.

The completed card front was adhered to the card base with foam tape as well for the finish!

And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword #CTD672 so we can see your beauty all in one place, and use #ctd672 and #colorthrowdown on social media. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week!
