Many Thanks–MFT Color Challenge #136

Hi, all, I'm back with the latest
MFT Color Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s color combo: Primitive Cream, Peach Bellini, Kraft, and Jellybean Green. All of the details about the color challenge are available on the MFT Blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

I started with a Primitive Cream card stock base, adhere a panel of Peach Bellini card stock at an angle, and then a panel of Jellybean Green card stock heat embossed with All Lined Up background, also at an angle. Next I popped up a Stitched Traditional Tag STAX Die-namics cur from Kraft card stock with a green ribbon. I stamped Flower Silhouette Stamp Set Peach Bellini and jellybean Green dye inks, cut them out with the coordinating Die-namics, tied them together in a bouquet with hemp cord, and adhered them to the Kraft tag.

A sentiment from Bitty Thanks & Gratitude was stamped with Jellybean Green dye ink on Peach Bellini card stock cut with Tag Builder Blueprints 5 Die-namics and popped up on foam tape finished it off.

And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. Winners are chosen at random, so everyone has a chance!

I’ll Always Bee Here for You–MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #477

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

I’ve always loved this set and I’m so sad it’s retiring :) To begin this card, I stenciled the background on a Sweet Tooth card stock base and stamped the flight trails to start the two horizontal elements and stamped the sentiment at the bottom. Next I stamped the images on No line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut them out with the coordinating Die-namics and colored them with Copic markers. I then cut more Sweet Tooth card stock with Inside & Out Stitched Rectangle STAX, sponged the cloud background, added Grassy Fields Die-namics, and popped it up on foam on the card base.

To finish up, I added the colored images with foam tape for dimension and it was done.

And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week! Now, it's your turn.

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!

Miss You–Color Throwdown Challenge #581

Hello and welcome to a brand new
Color Throwdown Challenge! This week Amy Rysavy is our hostess and she has a super fun color combo for us to play with!

I have been gradually developing an appreciation for certain types of abstract art over the last few years. This inspiration piece really spoke to me so I let it lead me when I was planning this CAS card. I used Color Bursts (as close to the challenge colors as I had) on Ranger watercolor paper for the card front. The gray came in as the card base, using Cement Gray card stock, and the sentiment strip. The sentiment is from Greetings & Salutations and was stamped with Extreme Black hybrid ink on a Skinny Strips Die-namics die cut.

Miss You Die-namics was cut from Silver Sparkle card stock and popped up on foam with the sentiment strip tucked under the tail of the “y”. Enamel dots in the challenge colors finish it off.

And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD581 so we can see your beauty all in one place, and use #ctd581 and #colorthrowdown on social media. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week!
