Hello and welcome to a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge! This week Amy Rysavy is our hostess and she has a super fun color combo for us to play with!
I have been gradually developing an appreciation for certain types of abstract art over the last few years. This inspiration piece really spoke to me so I let it lead me when I was planning this CAS card. I used Color Bursts (as close to the challenge colors as I had) on Ranger watercolor paper for the card front. The gray came in as the card base, using Cement Gray card stock, and the sentiment strip. The sentiment is from Greetings & Salutations and was stamped with Extreme Black hybrid ink on a Skinny Strips Die-namics die cut.
Miss You Die-namics was cut from Silver Sparkle card stock and popped up on foam with the sentiment strip tucked under the tail of the “y”. Enamel dots in the challenge colors finish it off.
And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD581 so we can see your beauty all in one place, and use #ctd581 and #colorthrowdown on social media. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! See you soon!
