Miss You–Color Throwdown Challenge #581

Hello and welcome to a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge! This week Amy Rysavy is our hostess and she has a super fun color combo for us to play with!



I have been gradually developing an appreciation for certain types of abstract art over the last few years. This inspiration piece really spoke to me so I let it lead me when I was planning this CAS card. I used Color Bursts (as close to the challenge colors as I had) on Ranger watercolor paper for the card front. The gray came in as the card base, using Cement Gray card stock, and the sentiment strip. The sentiment is from Greetings & Salutations and was stamped with Extreme Black hybrid ink on a Skinny Strips Die-namics die cut.

Miss You Die-namics was cut from Silver Sparkle card stock and popped up on foam with the sentiment strip tucked under the tail of the “y”. Enamel dots in the challenge colors finish it off.
