Happy Happy Happy Birthday - Color Throwdown Challenge #579

Hi all, and welcome to a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge! Today’s hostess is Miss Vickie and she has an interesting color combo for us today based on her gorgeous inspiration piece.




I say interesting because I found it to be QUITE the challenge! Could be because I’m stamping last minute lately and I HATE stamping last minute. I like to be WAAAAAY ahead and usually am—this last minute stuff is stressful, LOL! But I pulled out a stamp set from MFT’s February release that I hadn’t used and made quick work of it. I stamped Happy Happy Happy Birthday Stamp Set twice on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink and colored in the pink and light blue. Then I stamped the “birthday” with Blueberry to satisfy the dark blue requirement and that was that.

Then I adhered a piece of patterned paper from Birthday Brights Paper Pack to a Sweet Tooth card stock base and popped up the card front on foam tape after tying around some dark blue baker’s twine. I finished off with some enamel dots in the challenge colors and called it done!
