Birthday Wishes–MFT Color Challenge #135

Hi, all, I'm back with the latest MFT Color Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s color combo: Tropical Teal, Persimmon, Lemon Drop, and Limelight. It occurred to me that the flowers from the just released Freshly Picked Die-namics might work alone on a wreath so I decided to give it a try on this card. I know it’s just turned February but at the rate this year is going by already, Spring will be here before we know it and what’s better than a Spring birthday card?

To begin, I dry embossed Candy Stripes Stencil on Sweet Tooth card stock to give my otherwise plain background some interest, then popped it up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base with foam tape.

Then I cut a lot of the smaller-leafed Fab Foliage Die-namics from Limelight card stock, arranged it on the card front and adhered them with hot glue. Next I cut the flowers from Razzle Berry, Coral Crush, and Lemon Chiffon card stocks, arranged and adhered them on the wreath.

To finish up, I cut Black Licorice card stock with Tag Builders Blueprints 5 Die-namics and heat embossed a sentiment from Little Birthday Notes Stamp Set, also popped up on foam tape.
