EEP!! How sweet is little PI this month???? I just adore that little girl on a sled!! So I had to create a scene, you know ;-) I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base and added a layer of Blue Breeze card stock for the sky. Next up is Stitched Mountain Range Die-namics (I love these!!!), Cloud Cover-Up Die-namics clouds, and a sun cut from the new Sunshine card stock with Blueprints 21 Die-namics. I stamped PI Dashing By on the coordinating PI Dashing By Die-namcis with Black Licorice hybrid ink and colored her with Copic markers, then popped her up on the “trail” with foam mounting tape. The “trail” was made from Gravel Gray card stock and edged with the new Basic Stitch Lines Die-namics. What a great concept! Now you can put MFT’s signature lines on anything you want! How cool is that?

I stamped the sentiment from PI Dashing By on the “trail” with Versamark and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder before adhering it to the card.

My second card is a little more CAS. And would be easily mass produced.

This card also started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, splattered with some Black Licorice hybrid ink. Then I cut a strip of Ranger watercolor paper, did a wash with Blu Raspberry dye ink, and stamped a sentiment from Hand Lettered Holiday with Black Licorice hybrid ink. The little holly sprig is from the same set and the leaves watercolored. I added a strip of Sweet Tooth card stock stamped with Candy Stripes Background Builder and Wild Cherry dye ink and Green-Eyed Monster dye ink before popping it up on foam mounting tape. To finish off I tied around some hemp baker’s twine.

And that’s it for today’s offerings—this card is also for this week’s Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge. Thanks so much for stopping by—see you back tomorrow for Day Two of MFT’s October Release Countdown!
