Snow Globe Greetings–MFT October Card Kit is Available for Purchase!!

Hello! It’s time! The MFT October card kit, Snow Globe Greetings, is now available for purchase in the MFT online Boutique! After you shop, be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for more inspiration from the MFT Design Team!

For today’s card I started by stamping Christmas Background on Sweet Tooth card stock with Delicata Gold pigment ink then cut Tall Snow Globe Die-namics from it. I built my shaker element by applying molding paste through Snowfall – Vertical Stencil on Cement Gray card stock for the back, added a little scene using Merry Moments Stamp Set and Die-namics and chunky glitter for snow. Once it was in place, the base, cut from Kraft paper on which I stamped Wood Plank Background with Kraft ink was popped up on foam tape.

I cut Believe Die-namics from Gold Sparkle card stock, adhered it to the base and finished off by heat embossing part of a sentiment from Bitty Holiday Wishes.

And that’s it for me for MFT'’s October Card Kit Release! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon!

Snow Globe Greetings–MFT October Card Kit, Available Tomorrow

Hi there, I’m back today with Day Two Countdown for
MFT’s October Card Kit, Snow Globe Greetings. This kit will be available for purchase tomorrow morning at 10am Eastern so set your clocks! Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details and to see more inspiration from the MFT Design team.

For this card I started by applying molding paste through Snowfall – Vertical Stencil after cutting out the center with Tall Snow Globe Die-namics. I created the snow globe scene by adhering Mistletoe Kisses Die-namics cut from Jellybean Green card stock with a Ripe Raspberry card stock bow. The berries were cut from Translucent Vellum and placed on a watercolored background from my stash. Then I filled the Tall Snow Globe pouch with white sequins and seed beads and closed up the back of the shaker element.

The card front was popped up on foam tape on a Sweet Tooth card stock base with a strip of Candy Land Paper Pack across the bottom. The sentiment from Snow Globe Greetings stamp set was heat embossed on Tropical Teal card stock and also popped up on foam for the base. I finished off with some snowflake sequins on the outside.

And that’s it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for the release of MFT’s October Card Kit, Snow Globe Greetings.

Snow Globe Greetings–MFT October Card Kit, Available in Two Days

Hi everyone and welcome to Day One of
MFT’s October Card Kit Countdown! This month’s kit is called Snow Globe Greetings and will be available for purchase on October 22 at 10am Eastern. Be sure to check by the MFT Blog for all the details.

Included in the kit is this gorgeous Mistletoe Kisses Die-namics. I thought it would be gorgeous in white and gold and made a very elegant design. I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then cut a Sweet Tooth card stock panel, matted it with Gold Shine card stock, and heat embossed the sentiment from the included Snow Globe Wishes stamp set with gold detail embossing powder then popped the whole panel up on foam tape on the base.

I cut Mistletoe Kisses Die-namics three times from more Sweet Tooth card stock with Gold Shine card stock for the berries, arranged them on the card front, and adhered them with hot glue. I finished up with the bow, gut from more Gold Shine card stock.

And that’s it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by—see you back tomorrow for Day Two of the countdown.

It’s the Most Wonderful Time Of the Year–MFT/Ellen Hutson Collaboration

Hello again!! Today I’m participating in a collaboration between
MFT and  Ellen Hutson! How fun is that???? For all the details, head on over to the MFT Blog! I’m using an awesome sentiment stamp set from Ellen called Retro Holiday Greetings that I’ve paired with the equally retro SY Merry Wishes Stamp Set and Die-namics from MFT’s October Release.

To begin, I sponged my background using Kraft and Berrylicious dye inks on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper, stamped the sentiment at the top with Extreme Black hybrid ink and adhered it to a Sweet Tooth card stock base. Next I stamped the images on No Line Coloring Card Stock, also with Extreme Black Hybrid Ink, cut them out with the coordinating Die-namics, and popped them up on the card front with foam tape.

I adore this little scene! It reminds me of old-fashioned Christmas cards and that’s always a good thing :) Thanks so much for stopping by today—see you soon!
