Celebrating Jumbo Mod Borders–MFT July Teaser, Day Three

Happy Friday! And welcome to Day Three of MFT’s July Teasers! Today we’re previewing LLD Jumbo Mod Borders, Doodle Garden Take the Plunge, and Die-namics LLD Accent It – Celebrate. I have a card for you using the two Laina Lamb Designs products, but be sure to check out the MFT Blog for the details on all the products being previewed today. Ahhhh, I love LLD Mod Borders and now I love LLD Jumbo Mod Borders!! This size is perfect for a lot of applications and you’ll be seeing me use them more :) For this card I’m using a Sweet Tooth card stock base and trimmed-down layer and I cut Die-namics LLD Accent It – Celebrate out with Black Licorice card stock. I stamped the triangle image once with Berrylicious ink and then turned the stamp around, filling in the empty triangles with Banana Split ink, a new ink being released this month. I adhered the layer after rounding the bottom corners, popped up the die cut on foam, added some matching enamel dots, and it was DONE! This card was super easy and quick—always a good thing.

For the inside, I stamped a sentiment from last month’s Triple Scoop set, Bold Greetings, which will be available on it’s own at release at 10pm on July 9.

MPD Tropical Sensations–MFT July Teaser, Day Two

I’m back with Day Two of MFT’s July Teasers! Today we’re previewing MPD Tropical Sensations, Die-namics MPD Tropical Sensations and Die-namics Modern Morocco. I used them all on this card and I LOVE them all!!! Be sure to check out the MFT Blog for all the details about these awesome new products.

 

So, I cut Die-namics Modern Morocco out of Black Licorice card stock and adhered it to a Sweet Tooth card stock base to start. Then I cut out the hibiscus elements from Die-namics MPD Tropical Sensations with Smooth White card stock and stamped them. I used Red Hot ink and Wild Cherry ink on the top one, Razzle Berry ink and Electric Red ink on the center one, and Orange Fizz ink and the soon-to-be-released Tangy Orange ink on the bottom one. All of the stamens were stamped with another new ink this month, Banana Split ink, and the leaves were stamped with Jellybean Green ink. All pieces were adhered to the card base with the center one being popped up on foam. I stamped the sentiment, also from the set, on Sweet Tooth card stock cut with a Die-namics First Place Award Ribbon flag and layered on another, cut from Black Licorice card stock.

I’m Not Biased–MFTWSC #131

Hi, everyone, I’m back again with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. You can find the sketch on the MFT blog and also in the MFT forum on SCS, as well as in the weekly newsletter. The Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

I brought out Die-namics Sew Nifty Die and Stamp Set for my card this week. I stamped the dress form on Whip Cream card stock with Berrylicious ink and popped it up inside a frame made with Die-namics Chalkboard Frame Builder and patterned paper. I stamped the sentiment from the set on a flag cut with Die-namics First Place Award Ribbon and more Whip Cream card stock and popped it up, as well. Finally, I added a Die-namics Rolled Scallop Flower and Berrylicious card stock leaves, cut with Die-namics Royal Leaves. I sponged the edges of pretty much everything with Vintage Photo Distress Ink before assembling the card. My card base is Whip Cream card stock with a layer of Steel Gray card stock.

LJD Bitty Banners–MFT July Teaser, Day One

Hi, everyone and welcome to Day One of MFT’s July Teasers! I can’t believe how fast time is flying! I’ve said that before, haven’t I? Sigh, it’s still true ;-)

Today we’re previewing a new set by Lisa Johnson—LJD Bitty Banners and Die-namics LJD Bitty Banners along with a couple more products so be sure to check out the MFT Blog for all the details.

I’m using LJD Bitty Banners and Die-namics LJD Bitty Banners for my card today--adorable designs that you can use for almost any occasion.



My base card is Sweet Tooth card stock. I decided to emboss some clouds from Inspired by Up, Up and Away in white so they wouldn’t intrude on the sweet banner. I love the string and bows that you can stamp and then add the pennants—too cute! So, I stamped the string and bows with Black Licorice ink and cut out my banners. I stamped them with designs from the set in Grapesicle ink, new-this-month Tangy Orange ink, and Razzle Berry ink and popped them up on foam, then stamped the sentiment, from another new set by Lisa Johnson this month, LJD Birthday Greetings with Black Licorice ink. To finish it off I added a Die-namics Sunshine sun and some Die-namics Fresh Cut Grass.
