Happy Birthday to EWE–MFT January Release Countdown, Day Four

Welcome to Day Four of MFT’s January Release Countdown! We have another fun preview day lined up for you with products like BB Ewe Are the Best Stamp Set, BB Ewe Are the Best Die-namics, Scenic Safari Die-namics, - Previous Free with $60, Puffy Clouds Die-namics, and Stitched Cloud Edges Die-namics. There are two new paper packs this month, too, Subtle Plaids Paper Pack and Painted Prints Smitten Paper Pack, along with four new colors of card stock and ink: Dill Pickle, Biscotti, Purple Rain, and Milk Chocolate. Release is on January 5th at 10pm, so be sure to check by the MFT Blog for all the details!

I’m loving these little sheep! Birdie Brown has done it again!! My card today started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then I cut a piece of the new Subtle Plaids Paper Pack with Blueprints 20 Die-namics and popped it up on foam mounting tape. Next, I cut some Ranger watercolor paper with Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics (are you loving these wonky stitches as much as I am?) did a watercolor wash with Peerless Watercolors, and popped it up on foam as well.



I cut my scene pieces from BB Ewe Are the Best Die-namics from more watercolor paper, stamped them with Black Licorice hybrid ink and images from BB Ewe Are the Best and water colored them with Zig Clean Color Brush markers, arranged my scene, and popped them up on foam. I added some adorable clouds cut with Puffy Clouds Die-namics, stamped the sentiment, and it was done! This card is also for this week’s Crazy 4 Challenges.

You Are So Tweet–MFT January Release Countdown, Day Five

Hi, everyone, thanks for joining me on the first day of MFT’s January Release Countdown!! Today we’re previewing LJD All Heart Stamp Set, LJD All Heart Die-namics, LJD Mini Note Die-namics, So Much Love Stamp Set, Tag Builder Blueprints 5 Die-namics, Wonky Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics, Wonky Stitched Square STAX Die-namics, Wonky Stitched Oval STAX Die-namics, Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. These awesome products are just the beginning of what is going to be another amazing release from MFT! Release is on January 5th at 10pm—be sure to stop by the MFT blog for all the details!


I have a card for you today using LJD All Heart, LJD All Heart Die-namics, and Wonky Stitched Oval STAX Die-namics, along with a couple more products that you’ll see more of in coming days, Puffy Clouds Die-namics and Tag Builder Blueprints 5 Die-namics. And, of course, an old standby, Sheet Music Background.
I started with a Stone Gray card stock base, stamped Sweet Tooth card stock with Steel Gray hybrid ink and the background, then popped it up on foam mounting tape after tying some baker’s twine around in a bow. Next, I cut some Ranger watercolor paper with the oval die, did a watercolor wash with Peerless Watercolors, stamped the sentiment, and popped it up as well.



The darling birds were stamped with Steel Gray hybrid ink and colored with Copic markers. I tried to make them look like love birds. Did you know love birds were a kind of parrot? Me neither--until I did the research. There are many color combinations but the more frequent one I found was this one so I went with it ;-) Aren’t they adorable??? They were popped up on foam, too, as were the new Puffy Clouds Die-namics, cut from Sweet Tooth card stock. I am SO tickled about these clouds!! I finished off with those super cute hearts cut from the new Tag Builder Blueprints 5 Die-namics—I am really diggin’ those little hearts!

I’m using a pile of MFT products on this card. The base has a strip of Sweet Tooth card stock stamped with Bold Diagonal Stripes Background and Black Licorice dye ink. I stenciled some Ranger watercolor paper with Circle Burst Stencil and Peerless Watercolors and stamped Distressed Patterns randomly with Delicata Gold pigment ink.



The sentiment strip is cut from Black Licorice card stock with Tag Builder Blueprints 4 Die-namics, stamped with an image from LLD Friend Request with Versamark, heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, then popped up on foam mounting tape. The numbers are from LLD Stitched Numbers Die-namics, cut from Gold Foil card stock. The sentiment in the lower right is from Hand Lettered Holiday and I finished off with some stars cut with Blueprints 13 Die-namics, Blueprints 17 Die-namics, and Blueprints 25 Die-namics.
