Love You More–MFT January Release Countdown, Day One

Hi, everyone! It’s here! The last day of MFT’s January Release Countdown is here! Release is tonight at 10pm! Be sure to check out all the details at the MFT Blog. Today we’re previewing Cheeky Monkey Stamp Set, Cheeky Monkey Die-namics, Stitched Heart STAX Die-namics, Love You More Stamp Set, Mini Hearts Background, and Sunny Skies Die-namics - Free with $60.



Today’s card is done in the style I’m going to call “Refined Grunge”, LOL! I started with a Stone Gray card stock base, then, on a piece of Ranger watercolor paper, I stamped Mini Hearts Background with Versamark and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder. After that I did a watercolor wash with Peerless Watercolors and stamped some images from Distressed Patterns with Wild Cherry dye ink and Black Licorice dye ink, then popped it up on the base with foam mounting tape. Next I popped up a Stitched Heart STAX Die-namics cut from Wild Wisteria card stock, added a Stitched Fancy Flourish Die-namics cut from Translucent Vellujm, and another heart cut from Wild Cherry card stock.



The sentiment was stamped on a banner cut from Black Licorice card stock with Blueprints 25 Die-namics and stamped with a sentiment from Love You More and Versamark, then heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, then popped up on foam. To finish off, I added some silver glittery enamel dots.

We Have Amazing Chemistry–MFT January Release Countdown, Day Two

Hello, all, welcome to Day Two of MFT’s January Release Countdown! Tomorrow night, January 5th, at 10pm is release! Be sure to check out all the details at the MFT Blog. Today we’re previewing LLD Undeniable Chemistry Stamp Set, LLD Chemistry Set Die-namics, Bling it On Stamp Set, Diamonds Die-namics, and Label Maker Love Stamp Set.

Well, Laina has done it again—this LLD Chemistry Set Die-namics and LLD Undeniable Chemistry are so cute!!! For my card today, I started with a Grout Gray card stock base, then did a watercolor wash with Peerless Watercolors on some Ranger Watercolor paper, then popped it up on foam mounting tape. Next I cut the two beakers from Heat Resistant Acetate and added the “liquid” by stamping the words (part of sentiments in LLD Undeniable Chemistry) with Black Licorice dye ink on Blue Breeze card stock and Tickled Pink card stock, adhered them to the beakers, then popped them up on foam.



The + and = signs were made by using the “I” from LLD Bottlecap Letters Die-namics and the also new Stitched Heart STAX Die-namics was cut from Wild Cherry card stock and popped up as well. The bubbles were cut from Silver Sparkle card stock and the sentiment was stamped on Black Licorice card stock with Versamark and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder. How cool is this??? I love it!!

Sending You Love–MFT January Release Countdown, Day Three

Hi, everyone, welcome to Day Three of MFT’s January Release Countdown!! Today’s preview lineup includes PI I Heart You, Stamp Set, PI I Heart You Die-namics, Sketched Blooms Stamp Set, Circle Scribbles Background, and Stitched Fancy Flourish Die-namics. Since it’s Day Three, its Pure Innocence day!! PI I Heart You is this month’s offering and I heart her!! My card started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then I stamped up some Kraft card stock with the also new Mini Hearts Background and Versamark. I trimmed it down, popped it up on the base with foam mounting tape, and with a strip of Black Licorice card stock as “piping”, after tying around some hemp baker’s twine. Next I created her background but cutting Ranger Watercolor paper with Wonky Stitched Oval STAX Die-namics, doing a watercolor wash with Peerless Watercolors, and popping it up as well.



I cut my PI from Neenah Classic Crest Cover, Solar White Smooth, 110lb paper using PI I Heart You Die-namics, stamped it with the coordinating image from PI I Heart You with Black Licorice hybrid ink, and colored her with Copic markers. I love her little denim skirt that I created by soaking a scrap from old jeans in Copic Blending Solution and pressing it down on the skirt to move the color. Once she was done, I popped her up on the oval and added the sentiment. For that, I cut Black Licorice card stock with Blueprints 2 Die-namics, stamped the sentiment with Versamark and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder. To finish off, I added some hearts, cut from Wild Cherry card stock with the soon-to-be-released Tag Builder Blueprints 5 Die-namics.
