MFT September Release Countdown, Day Three

Hello and welcome to Day Three of MFT’s September (I’m still having trouble typing that out!) Release Countdown! Today we’re previewing PI Love You to the Core Stamp Set, PI Love You to the Core Die-namics, Essential Speech Bubbles Die-namics - previous Free with $60, Wild Woodland Stamp Set, Wild Woodland Die-namics, and Blessed & Blessings Die-namics. Fall is in the air and I’m so happy!! Both of my cards today have a definite Fall flavor starting with this month’s Pure Innocence. PI Love You to the Core is adorable! To start, I did a watercolor wash background using Ranger Watercolor Paper and Peerless Watercolors, added an Animal Farm Fence Die-namics cut from Cherry Wood Adhesive-Backed Sheet, stamped the sentiment with Black Licorice hybrid ink and adhered it to a card base. (Tip: always use waterproof ink to stamp sentiments on watercolor paper even when dry. Watercolor paper is very porous and dye ink will bleed.)



Next I stamped the image with Black Licorice hybrid ink on No-Line Coloring Card Stock, cut it with the coordinating PI Love You to the Core Die-namics, colored with Copic markers, and popped it up on foam mounting tape in the scene. Can’t you just taste that apple?? I added the also new Modern Trees and Modern Trees Die-namics and some Puffy Clouds Die-namics to complete the scene.

Wild Woodland stamp set and Wild Woodland Die-namics are going to become a favorite, I think :)



For this card I started by creating a frame using Kraft card stock and A2 Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics and A2 Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics. They are designed to perfectly fit on an A2 card shape for all kinds of mats and, in this case, a frame. Then I stamped the acorn image all over with Versamark and set it aside. I created a sky with Breeze Blue dye ink and Mini Cloud Edges Stencil and grass cut from Gumdrop Green card stock with Grassy Edges Die-namics, and popped them up inside the frame with foam mounting tape after stamping the sentiment.



The images were stamped with Black Licorice hybrid ink, cut out with the coordinating dies, colored with Copic Markers, and adhered them into the scene with foam tape.

MFT September Release Countdown, Day Four

Hi, everyone, welcome to Day Four of MFT’s September Release Countdown! What did you think of yesterday’s preview? Pretty dang awesome, amirite? Well, settle back, there’s lots more on the way :) Today we’re previewing BB Bitty Bears Stamp Set, BB Bitty Bears Die-namics, Grateful Stamp Set, Thank You Circle Frame, Oval Shaker Window & Frame Die-namics, and Oval Shaker Pouches.



I have a couple of cards for you today starting with one using the adorable new BB Bitty Bears and BB Bitty Bears Die-namics. I stamped a bunch of bears using Stamping Mask Paper for my card front and while my masking paper was still in place airbrushed the background with Copic Markers and airbrush system.



I colored the images with Copic Markers, popped the card front up on the base with foam masking tape, and added the sentiment, stamped with Versamark on Black Licorice card stock cut with Essential Speech Bubbles Die-namics, heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, and also popped up on foam. SWEET bitty bears!

I did a Fall-themed shaker card for my second project.



First, I covered the front of a Primitive White card stock base with Bundles of Blossoms Brights Paper Pack and set it aside. Next I created my shaker element in a Primitive White card stock card front using Oval Shaker Window & Frame Die-namics, cutting the frame from Pure Plum card stock, after stamping the sentiment from Grateful for You with Chocolate Brown dye ink.



When my shaker element was done, I popped the card front up on foam mounting tape and added Blessed & Blessings Die-namics, cut once from Brushed Gold card stock and twice from Primitive White card stock, adhered them together and then to the card front to finish.
