Are You Ready!! Two More Days Until MFT’s March Release!

Hi, everyone! I’m back today for Day Two of MFT’s March Release Countdown! Release is in two days, on March 10th at 10am Eastern so make a note! Today we’re previewing Flower Fairies Stamp Set, Flower Fairies Die-namics, Planted Blooms Die-namics, and Foiled Birthday Wishes Die-namics (Hot Foil). I  just love these flower dies! While you can cut them from colored card stock, I prefer to cut them from white and color them with Copic markers. Watercolors on watercolor paper works great, too! So, I started with my background, sponging Broken China Distress Ink on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper and adding a piece of the new patterned paper, Spring Whimsy, across the bottom and adhered this panel to a Sweet Tooth card stock base. Next I cut Planted Blooms Die-namics from No Line Coloring card stock, colored them up with Copic markers, and arranged the pieces.

Once that was done I popped it up on the card front and added the sentiment from Flower Fairies, cut into pieces and popped up on foam at wonky angles. To finish off I added several sizes of clear drops.

We’re Halfway to the Big Day! Three Days Until MFT’s March Release!

 

Hey there, welcome to Day Three of MFT’s March Release Countdown! Only three days until the release so we’ve got lots more to show you before Release on March 10 at 10am Eastern! Today we’re previewing Caticorn Stamp Set, Caticorn Die-namics, Scripty Smile Die-namics, and Framed Die-namics. Cats and unicorns—what a combo, right? Love these little critters! I thought a framed scene with them would be adorable so that’s where I went. First I sponged Blue Breeze dye ink on a Sweet Tooth card stock base for the sky, then I cut Framed Die-namics from more Sweet Tooth card stock and sponged it with Gathered Twigs Distress ink and popped it up on foam on the base. Then I stamped the images on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut them out with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored them with Copic markers.

Once that was all done it was simply a job of adhering the colored images with foam tape and heat embossing the sentiment on Black Licorice card stock cut with Skinny Strips Die-namics and also popped up on foam.

This new Stacey Yakula Stamp Set and Die-namics is just too adorable!! And so much fun to play with! I couldn’t wait to stamp up this plane on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut it out with the coordinating Die-namics, and color it up with Copic markers. To create a background for it I sponged Squeezed Lemonade and Broken China Distress Ink. on Strathmore Bristol Smooth card stock. After that was done I spattered with some clean water and black acrylic ink, stamped the sentiment, and adhered the panel to a Sweet Tooth card stock base.

To complete the scene, I stamped SY Scene Builder Stamp Set, colored with Copic markers and highlighted with Prismacolor pencils and fussy cut it out. I adhered it and the colored images to the card base with foam tape. A tiny heart, cut from Wild Cherry card stock with Tag Builder Blueprints Die-namics, was adhere to the flag to finish it off.
