I Can't Wait to See You - MFT November Card Kit Release!

It's time!! MFT's October Card Kit, Fox and Friends, is now available for purchase in the MFT Online Boutique! Get all the details at the MFT Blog.

I thought the adorable Happy Rainbows Die-namics would make an awesome baby card!. So, to begin, I sponged a panel of Strathmore Bristol Smooth card stock with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and stamped the sentiments--the bottom one from LLD Welcome, Baby, and the top one from the kit set, I Miss Your Hugs. Once that was done I popped it up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base with foam tape.

Next I cut the largest Happy Rainbows Die-namics from No Line Coloring card stock and colored the stripes with Copic markers, using pastel shades.

The rainbow was also popped up with foam tape for dimension and I finished off with a heart, cut with I Miss Your Hugs Die-namics from Wild Cherry card stock, again adhered with a bit of foam tape.

And that's it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you got some inspiration for you Miss Your Hugs Card Kit so go shop!! See you soon!

Sending You a Long Distance Hug - One Day Until MFT's Miss Your Hugs Card Kit Release

Hello! Welcome to Day One of MFT's November Card Kit, Miss Your Hugs, Release Countdown! The kit is available tomorrow, November 17th, at 10am Eastern so set your clocks! And don't forget to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details!

I went really CAS with this card so as to highlight the sweet sentiment and images. To begin, I covered a Sweet Tooth card stock base with some Road Trippin' Patterned Paper and set it aside.

Next, on a Sweet Tooth card stock panel, I stamped the sentiment at the bottom the the heart image just above it. Since it was just this little heart, I was able to get away with using Copic markers to color it. Next I stamped the paper airplane and cut it out with the coordinating Die-namics and popped it up on the card front.

To finish off, I matted it with Black Licorice card stock and popped the matted panel up on the card base with foam tape.

And there you have it for today's card! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for MFT's November card kit release!

Hello and welcome to Day Two of MFT's November Card Kit Countdown! Miss Your Hugs card kit will be available for purchase on November 17th at 10am Eastern so make a note! And be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details.

I started by stamping the globe images on Strathmore Bristol Smooth card stock with Berrylicious and Sour Apple dye inks, then over-stamping with the sentiment and Extreme Black hybrid ink.

Next I sponged the background, using Broken China, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot Distress Inks, applied Ranger Micro Glaze, and spattered slightly watered-down white craft paint with a small art brush. Once it was dry, I adhered this panel to a Sweet Tooth card stock base covered with Black & White Stripes pattered paper and popped up on foam tape.

The sentiment was heat embossed on Black Licorice card stock cut with Essential Stitched Sentiment Strips Die-namics and I finished off with a Free with $60 Love Speech Bubble Die-namics, popped up on foam.

Deck the Halls - MFT Color Challenge #153

Hi, all, I'm back with the latest MFT Color Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s color combo: Summer Splash, Natural, Red Hot, Razzleberry. All of the details about the color challenge are available on the MFT Blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

I hadn't used Ornament Banner Builder Stamp Set and Die-namics since it's Vault Release so I thought it would be a good time to get it out. To begin, I spread embossing paste through English Brick Wall Stencil on Natural Card stock and set it aside to dry.

Next I cut and stamped three copies of the banner using dye inks in the challenge colors and Extreme Black for the strings and cord.

Once the card front was dry, I popped it up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base as well as adhering the banners with foam tape. The sentiment was heat embossed, cut into individual words, and added at wonky angles with foam tape and I finished off with sequins in the challenge colors.

And there you have it! Now it’s YOUR turn to play! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. Winners are chosen at random, so everyone has a chance!

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!

Joy - MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #515

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

For my background, I heat embossed the just-released Baccarat Background from MFT with gold details embossing powder on Ranger Watercolor paper, applied a watercolor wash, and popped it up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base with foam tape.

I used Blueprints 27 Die-namics for the horizontal elements, cut from Lavender Fields card stock and Translucent Vellum.

For the circular element, I cut Joyful Wreath Die-namics from Sweet Tooth and Gold Sparkle card stocks and the berries from Lavender Fields card stock and finished off with some gold glitter dots. I love using non-traditional colors for holiday cards and this one makes me happy!

And there you have it!
Now it’s YOUR turn to play! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. Winners are chosen at random, so everyone has a chance!
