Are You Ready?? Two Days until MFT's February Release!

Today we're previewing SY Abracadabra Stamp Set, SY Abracadabra Die-namics, You're the Main Event Stamp Set, You're the Main Event Die-namics, and Inside & Out Stitched Arch STAX Die-namics.

Since this card is all about magic, I went with a black base to add a little mystery. To begin, I stamped the images on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut them out with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored them with Copic markers, keep the colors in a muted neutral palette. Next I cut an A2 Black Licorice card stock panel with the new (LOVE) Inside & Out Stitched Arch STAX Die-namics and set it all aside.

The sentiment and stars were heat embossed on a Black Licorice card stock base with gold detail embossed powder. A "stage", cut from Kraft card stock and was adhered directly to the card base. next the die cut card front was adhered on foam tape and the colored images popped up in the aperture with foam tape for the finish!

So excited to see more MSTN products this month! Her quirky and fun designs just make me smile, how about you? For this card I'm using Hip Hip Yay Numbers Stamp Set and Die-namics and MSTN Cue the Confetti Background stamp. To begin, I heat embossed the background with silver embossing powder then randomly heat embossed the number stamps on Black Licorice card stock and adhered it to a Sweet Tooth card stock base trimmed with Silver Sparkle card stock and Time to Celebrate Patterned Paper.

Next I stamped the numbers on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut them out with the coordinating Die-namics, colored them with Copic markers, and popped them up on the card front with foam tape. The sentiment, from All-Occasion Scripted Greetings Stamp Set was heat embossed on Tropical Teal card stock cut with Blueprints 27 Die-namics and also popped up on foam tape with a Silver Sparkle card stock underlay.

I couldn't resist using the super adorable Fairy-Tale Friendship Stamp Set and Die-namics for a box card, also using Mini Slimline Outside the Box Clouds Die-namics. First of all I created the box, using Lazy Day card stock, accented with Sweet Tooth card stock sponged with Lazy Day dye ink and Mini Cloud Edges Stencil. The images were stamped with Extreme Black hybrid ink on No Line Coloring card stock, cut with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored with Copic markers.

I really wanted to use the sentiment that I did but there was no room on the box back as it was, so I cut more Sweet Tooth card stock with Stitched Rolling Clouds Die-namics, stamped the sentiment, and adhered it to the back to it's extended higher than it normally would be. But it works!

Countdown Kickoff--Five Days until MFT's February Release!

What an adorable set!! Just the cutest little barnyard critters you're ever about to find! I wanted to create a little scene and decided to enclose it in the aperture of Watercolor Wash - Free Form Die-namics--one of my favorite products!! So to begin, I cut it from Sweet Tooth card stock and popped it up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base on which I sponged Sour Apple and Lazy Day dye inks using Drifts & Hills and Mini Cloud Edges Stencils.

The images were stamped on No Line Coloring card stock, cut with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored with Copic markers before being popped up in the scene with foam tape. The sentiment was heat embossed on Black Licorice card stock cut with Essential Stitched Sentiment Strips and also popped up on foam for the finish.

My Heart Belongs to You - Color Throwdown Challenge #678

 

Hello! It's time for a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge! This week, Lynn is our hostess and challenging us to sort of a monochromatic color palette--perfect for a Valentine!

I hadn't had a chance to use Piece of My Heart Die-namics from MFT's January release so I thought it would be perfect for this card. To begin, I cut it from Cotton Candy, Fire Coral, and Amarena Cherry card stocks and pieced it together with tape on the back. Next I dry embossed Kraft card stock with Radiating Sunrise Stencil and, after spattering it with black acrylic ink, adhered it to a Black Licorice card stock with a very narrow Gold Shine card stock mat.

The heart was popped up on foam tape, as was the sentiment from Bitty Hugs & Kisses Stamp Set, which was heat embossed with gold detail embossing powder on Black Licorice card stock cut with Skinny Strips Die-namics. To finish off, I added some gold glitter enamel dots>
