Too Cute to Spook - Color Throwdown Challenge #715

Hey there and welcome to a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge! This week Susie is our hostess and she has cool seasonal color palette for us to work with.

My background was created using Mini Cloud Edges and Grassy Edges Stencils (ink colors below). Once that was done a stamped the sentiment from RAM Too Cute to Spook Stamp set and popped the card front up on the card base with foam tape.

The image from the stamp set was stamped on No Line Coloring card stock, cut with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored with Copic markers, then popped up on the card front with foam tape.

And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword #CTD715 so we can see your beauty all in one place, and use #ctd715 and #colorthrowdown on social media. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week!

To begin, I sponged Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper with several inks Caribbean Sea and Tropical Teal MFT Dye inks and Mermaid Lagoon and Black Soot Distress inks.

Once dry, Crosshatch Die-namics, cut from Milk Chocolate card stock was adhered directly then the whole panel spattered with gold acrylic ink, then popped up on a Kraft card stock card base.

Next, Thanks Die-namics was cut from Gold Shine card stock and twice from white scraps then adhered together with spray adhesive and them adhered to the card front to finish off.

And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. MFT October Release Is Now Available for Purchase!

Hello, it's time! MFT's October Release is available now for purchase so be sure to head on over to the MFT Online Boutique and shop! And don't forget to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details and more inspiration!

I created an infinity shaker for today's card using Snow Buddy Die-namics and MSTN Cool Christmas Greetings Stamp Set. To begin, I spattered white craft paint on Cement Gray card stock and once that dried, stamped the sentiment using Extreme Black hybrid ink.

Snow Buddy Die-namics was created using Smooth White, Wild Cherry, Orange Zest, Black Licorice, and Kraft card stocks. Snow Buddy was then adhered to the bottom of the Cement Gray card stock panel and slid inside the stamp pouch.

I used several different filler materials, all with a low profile, and sealed it up for the finish!

And that’s it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon!

Hello and welcome to Day One of MFT's October Release Countdown! Release is in one day, tomorrow, October 11th, at 10am Eastern so make a note! Today we're previewing Cute & Cuddly Christmas Stamp Set, Cute & Cuddly Christmas Die-namics, Number Fun - 7 Stamp Set, Chill Holiday Stamp Set, and Chill Holiday Die-namics.

I love this sentiment so much that I designed my whole card around it, LOL! So, to begin, I sponged a snow scene on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper using Drifts and Hills Stencil and Stormy Sky Distress Ink then spread snow through First Snowfall stencil. I wanted more snow so I spattered some white craft paint with a small art brush and set the card front aside to dry.

The image was stamped on No Line coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut out with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored with Copic markers.

The sentiment was stamped on the card front with Extreme Black hybrid ink, the colored image was popped up on foam tape, and it was done!

And that's it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for MFT's October Release!

Are You Ready? Two Days Until MFT's October Release!

Hello and welcome to Day Two of MFT's October Release Countdown! Release is in two days, October 11th, at 10am Eastern so make a note! And be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for ALL the details! Today we're previewing Holly Jolly Santa Stamp Set, Holly Jolly Santa Die-namics, Stocking Trio Die-namics (Free with $60), Happy Holly-days Stamp Set, and Happy Holly-days Die-namics.

This little Stocking Trio Die-namics is freaking adorable!! Look at the toe and heel detail!! To begin this card, I cut the stockings from Colorful Canvas, Keep Me in Stitches, Poppin' Polka Dots patterned papers, added Smooth White card stock details and gave the top cuffs dimension with Nuvo Amplify.

While that was drying, I added some Floor to Ceiling Patterned Paper with torn edges and stamped with a sentiment from Inside and Out Christmas Greetings Stamp set, popped up on a Wild Cherry card stock base with foam tape.

Before adhering the card front, baker's twine was tied around in a bow. Once the stocking were done, the were adhered to the "line" created by the baker's twine.

And that’s it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for Day One of MFT's October Release Countdown!
