Final Countdown--One Day Until MFT's March Release!

Today we're previewing Tranquil Swans Stamp Set and Die-namics and You Bring Sunshine Stamp Set and Die-namics.

 

 

Oh, my, but I love these adorable swans!! They and their foliage are perfect for creating a most serene (and tranquil, if you will) scene. I had so much fun with this card!! To begin, I cut Porcelain White card stock with Inside and Out Stitched Oval STAX as a "frame" for my little scene. Next I created the background by sponging Lazy Day dye ink through Cloud Stencil then Summer Splash dye ink for the water. This was adhered to a Porcelain White card stock base, the frame was adhered with foam tape for dimension, and the card base set aside.

 

 

The images were stamped on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored with Copic markers. Once done I arranged them within the frame and adhered them with foam tape.

I cut Balloon STAX Die-namics from Lemon Drop card stock for the sun and the clouds were created by cutting Porcelain White card stock with JB Treetop Die-namics. These were adhere directly and with foam tape. The sentiment from the set was heat embossed on Black Licorice card stock cut with Essential Stitched Sentiment Strips Die-namics and popped up on foam as well.

Are You Ready? Two Days Until MFT's March Release!

Today we're previewing SY Beauty of Spring Stamp Set and Die-namics and YUZU Ear for You Stamp Set and Die-namics.

 

 To begin, on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper, I sponged my background using Lazy Day Dye Ink and Rolling Clouds Stencil, with a little Cement Gray sponged at the bottom for grounding. I had planned my layout in my head so then stamped the sentiment from SY Beauty of Spring Stamp Set then adhered the card front to a Porcelain White Card Stock base.

Next i stamped a bunch of the tulip images from the set on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut them with the coordinating Die-namics and colored them with Copic markers.

I did the same with the cute-as-can-be bumble bees, arranged all the colored images on the card front and popped them up on foam tape for dimension. I hope you love my field of Spring tulips as much as I do!

Today we're previewing PI Important Peep Stamp Set and Die-namics, PI On the Mend Stamp Set and Die-namics, PI Bundle of Love Stamp Set and Die-namics, PI Healing Love Stamp Set and Die-namics, Stitched Eyelet Lace Rectangle STAX, and Stitched Eyelet Lace Circle STAX.

I'm so excited to see four new PI stamp sets and couldn't wait to play with one!! I'm using PI Healing Love Stamp Set and Die-namics along with Stitched Eyelet Lace Rectangle STAX for my card today. To begin, I covered a Porcelain White card stock base with Pretty in Plaid Patterned Paper and set it aside.

 

The image was stamped on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored with Copic markers. Stitched Eyelet Lace Rectangle STAX was cut from Ranger Watercolor paper and had a watercolor wash applied then was popped up on the card base with foam tape.

The sentiment was heat embossed on Black Licorice card stock, adhered with foam tape, as was the colored image. I finished off with some matching enamel dots.
