Here I am back with this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge! I’m your host this week and here are the colors I’ve chosen, based on my inspiration piece:
I decided to go sort of CAS with today’s card, so first of all, I cut out an MFT Die-namics Large Leafy Flourish from Whip Cream card stock, rounded the bottom corners, and adhered it to a Kraft card base with it’s bottom corners rounded, as well. then I made a flower with my Die-namics Fringed Perennial set using Sno Cone card stock and Poppy Parade center. For the center, I colored some small rhinestones with a Copic marker and adhered them inside the “fringe”. To finish it off, I stamped the sentiment, from Clearly Sentimental About Sympathy, and it was done! Really simple, but I think perfect for a sympathy card, don’t you?
Here’s the inside, with another sentiment from the set:
Here are the Die-namics dies I used on this card:
And that’s that! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD194 so we can see your beauty all in one place. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week.
