Life Is What You Make It

creativechallengevid_2015mar17

Hi, everyone, I have another card using Harlequin Stencil today. This card started with a Grout Gray card stock base. I spread white embossing paste through Harlequin Stencil on Sweet Tooth card stock to create the background. You can see how I did that in a video posted HERE on the MFT Blog, where I show how to create eight different backgrounds with one stencil.

I popped the background up on foam, then added some Desert Bouquet flowers. I stamped them with Pure Plum dye ink, Wild Wisteria dye ink, Orange Zest dye ink, Daffodil dye ink, Coral Crush dye ink, Ripe Raspberry dye ink, fussy cut them out, and arranged them on Wild Greenery Die-namics, cut from Sour Apple card stock and Limelight card stock. The sentiment is from Pearls of Wisdom and was stamped on Black Licorice card stock with Sweet Tooth pigment ink, then heat embossed with clear detail embossing powder and popped up on foam. I finished off with some enamel dots.

Another sentiment from Pearls of Wisdom was stamped on the inside with Black Licorice dye ink.
