Hello–MFT Color Challenge #16

Hi, all, I'm back with the latest MFT Color Challenge! Are you ready? There’s still time to play before the next once comes out in a few days. Here’s the current color combo: Brown Paper Bag, Lemon Chiffon, Lavender Fields, and Green Room. All of the details about the color challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Challenge & Inspiration Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then on a piece of Brown Paper Bag card stock, I stamped DC Diamonds & Dots Borders with Delicata Gold pigment ink and popped it up on foam mounting tape. I wasn’t sure if this paper would be stout enough for a layer like this but it works great! Next I cut some LJD Grand Peaceful Wildflowers Die-namics from Sweet Tooth card stock and stamped with the coordinating images from LJD Grand Peaceful Wildflowers with Lemon Chiffon dye ink, Lavender Fields dye ink, and Green Room dye ink. I decided to add some accents with Copic markers and enamel dot centers, then tied them together with gold cord. The sentiment from the set was stamped on a Blueprints 12 Die-namics double-ended flat with Black Licorice dye ink and popped up on foam, then the flowers were added, also popped up. I finished off with some glittery gold enamel dots.

Another sentiment from the set was stamped on the inside.

And, that’s it! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon, and don’t forget, it’s all about the art!
