Hi, everyone, I’m back again with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Challenge & Inspiration Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.
So, right off you can tell I was a rebel—but not much of one ;-) I changed the vertical stripes to horizontal but otherwise kept the integrity of the sketch. I started with a Whip Cream card stock base. Then, on a piece of Sno Cone card stock, I stencil Waves Stencil with Summer Splash dye ink and built a shaker box aquarium scene. The “metal frame” of my aquarium was made by cutting silver foil card stock with Stitched Rectangle Frames Die-namics. I added heat resistant acetate for the glass and fish cut with Fishbowl Die-namics. The sentiment is from DC You’re Fin-tastic and was stamped on Black Licorice card stock with Versamark then heat embossed with white detail embossing powder then popped up on foam. The “sand” in my shaker card is made up of sequins and seed beads.
Another sentiment from DC You’re Fin-tastic was stamped on the inside.
And that’s it for this card! Thanks so much for stopping by—see you soon!
