The hustle and bustle of the season doesn’t allow us as much play time as we’d like. Fortunately for us devoted crafters, there’s still ample opportunity to put those supplies to good use. This month, we’re challenged to use Blueprints to create pretty packaging for the humble gift card.
Thanks so much for joining me for this month’s Creative Construction With Blueprints! I love giving gift cards—they’re always the right color and size ;-) I’m using Blueprints 18 Die-namics for my wonky angle gift card pocket, and other elements of the card were made with Blueprints 13 Die-namics, Blueprints 21 Die-namics, and Tag Builder Blueprints 4 Die-namics. The background was stamped with holly leaves and berries from Winter Warmth stamp set, I used Candy Stripes background Builder for the circle, and BB Jingle All the Way stamp set and BB Jingle All the Way Die-namics for the Santa element.
The pocket was attached with 1/4” Scortape and the elements popped up on foam mounting tape. The holly leaves/berries were stamped with Cactus dye ink and Wild Cherry dye ink, the image was stamped with Black Licorice hybrid ink and colored with Copic markers. The sentiment was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder.
I love this angled pocked for a gift card, don’t you? Thanks so much for stopping by today—see you soon!
