Hello, welcome to Day Two of MFT’s January Release Countdown! It’s getting close! Release is tomorrow night, January 10, at 9pm EST. Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details. Today we’re previewing I'm Owl Yours Stamp Set, I'm Owl Yours Die-namics, Well-Connected Alphabet, Cloud 9 Die-namics - Free with $60, and Stitched Heart Grid Die-namics.

NewReleaseCountdown_Day2

How sweet is this owl??? I created a little scene using I’m Owl Yours, I’m Owl Yours Die-namics, and this month’s Free With $60 Cloud 9 Die-namics along with some previously released products. I did a watercolor sky on Ranger Watercolor Paper with Peerless Watercolors and splattered some watered-down Copic Opaque White for the stars. I big ‘ol moon cut with Circle STAX Set 1 Die-namics and Cloud 9 Die-namics cut from Stone Gray card stock complete the background.

I stamped the owl and the tree branch (from Harvest Buddies) with Black Licorice hybrid ink on X-Press It Blending Card, colored them with Copic markers, and popped them up on foam. The card front was created by stamping Whimsical Woodgrain Background with Natural dye ink on Primitive Cream card stock, and cutting the opening with Inside & Out Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics. The sentiment was stamped with Versamark on Black Licorice card stock and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder and popped up on foam.

My second card also uses
I’m Owl Yours in a different way along with Well-Connected Alphabet.

First, I added a strip of Dots & Stripes Neutral Paper Pack down the side of a Sweet Tooth card stock card base. Next I stamped and cut the large heart from the set using Black Licorice hybrid ink on Ranger Watercolor Paper and colored them in rainbow colors with Peerless Watercolors.

For the card front I stamped “xoxo” using Well-Connected Alphabet (I have a feeling this set is going to get a LOT of use) and popped it up on the base with foam mounting tape. I added the hearts, also popped up, and finished off with some enamel dots in matching colors.

And that’s it for Day Two of
MFT’s January Release Countdown!! Thanks SO much for stopping by! See you soon!
