MFT February Release Countdown, Day Four!

Hello and welcome to Day Four of
MFT’s February Release Countdown! Did you love what you saw yesterday? There’s more today so let’s get to it! Today we’re previewing BB Birth-Yay Stamp Set, BB Birth-Yay Die-namics, Oh My Gostrich Stamp Set, Oh My Gostrich Die-namics, Tag Builder Blueprints 7 Die-namics, Circle Shaker Pouches, and Raccoon Cutie Die-namics. Release is on February 5th at 10am, Eastern so mark your calendars. And be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details.

For my first card today I’m using BB Birth-Yay Stamp Set. I stamped it on No Line Coloring Card Stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink and colored it with Copic markers. I love this tower of critters that you don’t have to build and you can use the coordinating Die-namics or not.

This image is so interesting I thought a very simple design was best so I added a piece of Black & White Dots Paper Pack at a wonky angle and then the image panel, popped up on foam tape. Then I simple heat embossed a sentiment, popped it up on foam tape, and was done!
*****

I can’t EVEN begin to tell you how stinkin’ CUTE this Raccoon Cutie Die-namics is!!! Oh, my WORD, is it adorable! To see how each element fit into the whole, I cut it from copy paper first and played around with it to see what colors I wanted where. While I was playing around I discovered his arms (front legs?) could be added at different angles, thus the birth of my design. Here he’s waving “Hello” but they can be hanging down holding a message or spread wide in a hug! How versatile, right?

So, I cut it again using Cement Gray, Grout Gray, Steel Gray, and Black Licorice card stocks and put him together. I added Crystal effect to the eyes and set it aside to dry while I worked on the rest of the card. The sky was sponged using Mini Cloud Edges Stencil and Blue Breeze dye ink and I added grass, cut from Sour Apple card stock with Grassy Fields Die-namics. I added a strip of Black & White Stripes across the bottom to break up the design.

After all that was put together I cut the letters from card stock in rainbow colors using LLD Bottlecap Letters and adhered them directly to the card front. I LOVE the way this turned out!!!

And that’s it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for Day Three of MFT’s February Release Countdown!
