I Bee-lieve in You–MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #424

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

I decided to give Meant to Bee Stamp Set and Die-namics a little love for this card so to begin, I created my background by stamping Ranger Watercolor paper with Honeycomb Background and Gravel Gray Hybrid ink in a distressed manner then applied a watercolor wash with Peerless Watercolors and a water brush. When that was dry, I stamped the sentiment with Extreme Black hybrid ink, adhered the Black & White Striped Paper Pack element, and popped it up on the Sweet Tooth card stock base.

Then I stamped the images with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut them out with the coordinating Die-namics, colored them with Copic markers, added a bit of clear Wink of Stella to the bees’ wings for a bit of shimmer, and popped them up with foam tape for the finish!

And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Challenge Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
