I’m Sorry–Color Throwdown Challenge #602

Hi everyone! It’s time for a new
Color Throwdown Challenge and this week I’m hosting! Hope you’ll come on over and join us this week!

I decided to go with a scrappy design for this card To begin I created my background by using Faded Jeans and Broken China Distress Inks sponged on Strathmore Bristol Smooth card stock then spattered it with clean water. Once dry, I popped it up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base. Next I added A2 Rectangle Frames Die-namics cut from Gold Sparkle card stock and popped it up on foam as well. To that I added Grande Greenery - Solid, Grande Greenery – Outlines cut from Jellybean Green card stock and a butterfly, using Brilliant Butterflies Stamp Set and Die-namics, stamped with Peach Bellini dye ink and heat embossed with fine detail gold embossing powder.

Once that was all done it was just a matter of heat embossing a sentiment from Happy Hummingbirds Stamp Set on Heavyweight Vellum and finishing off with some gold glitter enamel dots.

And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the
Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD602 so we can see your beauty all in one place, and use #ctd602 and #colorthrowdown on social media. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week!
