This is Me Cheering You On - Five Days Until the MFT November Release!!

Hello and welcome to Day Five of MFT's November Release Countdown! Release is in five days, on November 10th, at 10am Eastern so make a note! Today we're previewing BB Pile on the Hugs Stamp Set, BB Pile on the Hugs Die-namics, Outside the Box Level Up Die-namics, I Really Miss You Die-namics, and Essential Stitched Sentiment Strips Die-namics (Free with $60). Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details and to see more inspiration from the MFT Design Team.

My goodness the images in this set are so stinkin' adorable! I love the sentiment I used and decided to create a scene based on it so I went with a snowball fight scene! Holy shades of childhood, Batman!

To begin, I stamped the images on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut them out with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored them with Copic markers. To add some dimension, I used Nuvo Amplify on the snowballs and piles

The background was creating by sponging Hickory Smoke Distress Ink on Strathmore Bristol Smooth card stock and adhered it directly to a Sweet Tooth card stock base after which I stamped the sentiment. I added Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics, cut from Sweet Tooth card stock after stamping Modern Trees Stamp Set with Milk Chocolate dye ink, using foam for dimension.

Next, all the images were popped up on foam tape and to finish off I spattered the whole thing with slightly watered-down white craft ink with a small art brush. I seriously love how this card turned out!

And that's it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for Day Four of MFT's November Release Countdown!

  1. Your snowy winter scene makes me think of Frosty the Snowman movie (I watch it every Christmas, even now as an adult...kids are a great excuse). So cute.
